This semester I begin my 26th year of teaching here at Nassau---whew! I teach Child Development and General Psychology here at NCC and taught courses in Social Psychology, Women's Studies and the Psychology of Gender at the City College of New York before I came to Nassau. My interests within the field of Child Development include prenatal influences, brain development, and the social context in which our children grow up.

I will teach three sections of Child Development and two sections of Lifespan Development in the Fall 2009 semester.  In the distant past I have taught Social Psychology, The Psychology of Women, Women and Mental Illness.
