Research Interests
I primarily investigate philosophical issues that surround language and its use. In particular, my research focuses upon the semantics and pragmatics of singular subject expressions (i.e. descriptions, pronouns, demonstratives, and proper names). In addition, I'm interested in certain methodological issues pertaining to semantic theory such as the evidential status of intuitions and the legitimacy of postulating aphonic elements on interpretational grounds.
