This semester I begin my 35th year of teaching here at Nassau---whew! I teach Child Development, Lifespan Development and General Psychology here at NCC and taught courses in Social Psychology, Women's Studies and the Psychology of Gender at the City College of New York before I came to Nassau. My interests within the field of Child Development include prenatal influences, brain development, and the social context in which our children grow up.

I will teach two sections of Child Development and two sections of Lifespan Development in the Spring 2014 semester.  In the distant past I have taught Social Psychology, The Psychology of Women, Women and Mental Illness.
