Who Am I at NCC? I was the first faculty member at NCC to design and to teach a fully online course. This course was OFT 244--Business Writing. After years of teaching online, I now act as Pedagogy Advisor for other faculty who are teaching Distance Education courses. In addition, my specialty in Medical Terminology has enabled me to teach at both academic and hospital settings. In addition, I am the President of the NCCFT representing over 700 faculty members on campus. I am pleased to have received a number of recognitions for my teaching and dedication to students and to the NCC community. I was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Professional Excellence Award from the AFA, and a special recognition from the Center of Students with Disabilities. It is my pleasure to call NCC my second home.

My favorites things are spending free time with family and friends. In addition, I enjoy doing volunteer work (especially Pet Therapy), reading, and traveling.
